No Grab. No FoodPanda. That's island life.
App-based food delivery platforms do not operate on Bantayan Island. Food delivery here is done the local way: call the restaurant directly, confirm your order and address, and a habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) rider will bring it to your door. Cash payment only. This list will grow as we add more restaurants — ask Batad for the latest options.
How Local Delivery Works

Bantayan Town
Town center & market areaBantayan town has the most options for local dining, concentrated around the public market and town plaza area. Carinderias (local eateries) serving home-cooked Filipino food are abundant and affordable. Many offer takeaway — some deliver within Poblacion and nearby barangays via habal-habal.
Ordering Tips
- • Bring cash. No card machines, no GCash QR at most delivery drop-offs. Have exact or close change ready.
- • Be patient. Island delivery does not have a timer. The rider is doing their best, often on unpaved roads.
- • Tipping is appreciated. A small tip (₱20–₱50) for the rider goes a long way and is good island etiquette.
- • Phone signal. Signal can be spotty in some areas — especially interior barangays and parts of Madridejos. Step outside if calls are dropping.
- • Give a good landmark. Addresses on the island are informal. Say your resort name, or describe a nearby landmark. Don't rely on GPS coordinates.
- • Delivery hours vary. Many eateries close by 8:00–9:00 PM. For late-night options, check with your resort or accommodation.
