Getting to Hagnaya Port from Cebu City
By Bus (North Terminal)
- Terminal: Cebu City North Bus Terminal
- Bound for: Hagnaya or San Remigio
- Travel time: ~4–5 hours
- Fare: ~₱150–200 (please verify)
- First buses: ~4:00–5:00 AM (please verify)
By Van (Faster)
- From: North Bus Terminal area
- Travel time: ~2.5–3 hours
- Fare: ~₱350 (please verify)
- Note: Fill-up only — waits until van is full
Ceres Bus — Cebu ↔ Madridejos
Departs from Cebu North Bus Terminal (Mandaue) and terminates at Madridejos, stopping at Sta. Fe and Bantayan town on the way. Bus boards the RoRo ferry with passengers aboard — no transfer needed.

Tips for Travelers
Arrive early
Especially during Holy Week and summer — the port can get very crowded and trips fill up fast.
Book in advance if possible
Super Shuttle Ferry may allow advance online booking — please verify current booking options.
Allow extra travel time
Traffic on the Cebu mainland — especially near Cebu City — can add significant time to your journey.
Don't miss the last trip
Missing the last ferry means an overnight stay in Hagnaya or San Remigio. Basic accommodation is available nearby.
Bringing a vehicle? All three operators are RoRo
Island Shipping and Super Shuttle (both from Hagnaya) and Aznar (from Kawit) all carry passengers and vehicles. Arrive well before departure for vehicle loading — verify current vehicle rates at port.
Cancellations due to weather
Ferries may cancel trips without prior notice in bad weather. During typhoon warnings, all trips are suspended. Check PAGASA advisories.
Terminal fees
A terminal fee is typically included in the ticket price — verify at point of purchase.
